IMPACT Justice hosts lecture on the Implications of the Caribbean Court of Justice judgment in The Maya Leaders Alliance v. the Attorney General of Belize [2015] CCJ 15

IMPACT Justice, in association with the National Garifuna Council of Belize, hosted a lecture on the Implications of the Caribbean Court of Justice judgment in The Maya Leaders Alliance v. the Attorney General of Belize [2015] CCJ 15.

The lecture, delivered by the Hon. Mr. Justice C. Dennis Morrison, President of the Court of Appeal of Jamaica, was held on May 6, 2017 at the Father Ring Parish Hall,  Main Street, Punta Gorda, Toledo District, Belize.

This follows on from the Conference on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples hosted by IMPACT Justice in Belize from April 27-29, 2016, at which requests for clarification of the implications of the CCJ judgment were made.
