The Canadian-funded IMPACT Justice Project has extended its mediation training programme to police officers in St. Lucia.

Thirty police officers, drawn from various divisions and departments of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force, attended the five-day training session which took place from April 18 – 22, at the Bay Garden Hotel, Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Anastasius Mason, delivered the Closing Address,  in which he urged officers who completed the course to utilise the training to resolve issues to the extent that all parties involved are satisfied. He thanked IMPACT Justice for making the training possible.
