Rt. Hon. Sir Dennis Byron Addresses the Postgraduate Legislative Drafting Programme, UWI Cave Hill Campus

At the invitation of the IMPACT Justice Project, Rt. Hon. Sir Dennis Byron, President of the Caribbean Court of Justice, delivered an address to the students of the UWI, Cave Hill Campus Postgraduate Legislative Drafting Programme.

The aim of the address, which took place on April 8th, 2016, was to engage students in the discussion of how best legislative drafters can support regional integration. The lecture was attended by 14 students (12 females and 2 males). Also in attendance were Prof. Velma Newton, IMPACT Justice Regional Project Director, Prof. Westmin James, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ms. Shelley Collymore, Legislative Drafting Course Director, and Hon. Peter Williams, CHB, Q.C., Retired Justice of Appeal.
